Hurricane Irma Relief!

In November 2016 and 2017, we have had the privilege of going to the Turks and Caicos Islands and nurturing and instructing the island's youth. In November of 2017, when we went to the island, we were shocked at the utter devastation from Hurricane Irma--yet, we were also in awe at the resilience of the islanders and their unwavering desire to resume the condition of their homes.
So, at Wexford Dance Academy's Winter Performance, faculty members Ava Karas and Jordan Labuda devised a plan. The two operated the raffle table. Half of the funds raised benefitted Hurricane Irma Relief through the Wesleyan Methodist Church in the Turks and Caicos. This institution assisted us in finding locations, as well as advertised and supported our program, introducing enthusiastic and eager students to the arts via our program.
It is our pleasure to announce that we have raised $1,057.49! We wish the island all the best for recovery!
