Our Forest Hills, PA Workshop is tomorrow, and we are proud to announce the presence of new faculty and welcome them to their team! Ava and Annie, previous faculty members will also be in attendance--but for now, let's get to know the new instructors!
Jordan Labuda (January 6th and January 13th):
Jordan Labuda is currently a junior at Pine Richland High School. She trains in the pre-professional division at Wexford Dance Academy and has attended renowned summer programs at the School of American Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Miami City Ballet, and Nashville Ballet. Ms. Labuda has also attended the Global Scholars Program at Yale University, a highly selective pre-college program. She has been apart of many volunteering activities through National Honors Society. In her work with First Steps Dance Workshop, Jordan hopes to provide structure and a love of learning and arts appreciation.
Grace Connors (January 20th and January 27th):
Grace Connors is currently a junior at Seneca Valley High School. She attends the pre-professional division at Wexford Dance Academy. In her summers, Grace attends Point Park University’s Dance Program, studying a variety of styles from Ballet to Modern to Hip Hop. She is an active member of her high school’s marching band and has been selected for District Band multiple times for her advanced musicality. When working with students at First Steps Dance Workshop, Grace’s mission is to foster self-expression in movement through music.
We are so beyond thrilled at their joining the team, and ready to start our Forest Hills, PA workshop tomorrow!
